Indication/Uses: 

1. Angina Pectoris:

   • Used as an add-on therapy for the symptomatic treatment of stable angina pectoris in patients inadequately controlled by or intolerant to first-line antianginal therapies such as beta-blockers or calcium channel blockers.

2. Vertigo:

   • Sometimes used in the treatment of vertigo due to inner ear disorders.

3. Tinnitus:

   • Occasionally prescribed for tinnitus associated with inner ear disorders.

Uses:

1. Anti-Ischemic Agent:

   • Trimetazidine works by improving the efficiency of glucose utilization in the heart muscle, which helps maintain energy production during ischemia (reduced blood flow).

   • Provides protection to the cells under conditions of hypoxia (low oxygen) by preserving cellular energy metabolism, which helps in reducing symptoms like chest pain in angina patients.

Dosage and Administration:
