Indication/Uses: 

1. Edema:

   • Used in the management of edema associated with congestive heart failure, cirrhosis of the liver, and nephrotic syndrome.

2. Hypertension:

   • Helps to manage high blood pressure, often used in combination with other antihypertensive agents.

3. Heart Failure:

   • Used to improve survival and to reduce the need for hospitalization in patients with severe heart failure (NYHA class III-IV).

4. Primary Hyperaldosteronism:

   • Used both for the diagnosis and treatment of primary hyperaldosteronism (Conn's syndrome).

5. Hypokalemia:

   • Treatment of low potassium levels (hypokalemia) when other measures are considered inappropriate or inadequate.

Uses:

• Mechanism of Action:
