Indication/Uses:

    • Trimetazidine works by improving myocardial glucose utilization through inhibition of fatty acid metabolism. This helps to maintain energy production during ischemia, thereby protecting the heart cells from damage and reducing the frequency and severity of angina attacks.

    • It helps in preserving cellular energy metabolism during episodes of hypoxia or ischemia, which can be beneficial in reducing symptoms in patients with stable angina.

    • The recommended dose is one 35mg modified-release tablet taken twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening during meals.

Thent tablet foil is good and easy to open. The price is very affordable compared to mercury drug and other drugstores. The table color is deep red symbolising the heart. And for effectiveness the medicine works well also like other branded medicines of this type and use.
